Things a fly fisher should bring:

  • We provide flies, but if you have favorites, bring 'em
  • Chest Waders and felt soled boots
  • 8 1/2'- 9'  5 or 6 weight fly rod
     with a matching reel and floating fly line
  • 7 1/2'- 9' leaders from 0x-5x
  • Tippet material 2x-6x
  • Wide brim hat, sunscreen, and rain gear
  • For Safety, Sun Glasses are a Must. We Ask All Of Our Fly Fishing Clients to Wear Polorized Sun Glasses. Safety First! Quality Sun Glasses Cut Glare on the Water and Protect Your Eyes!
  • Cold weather clothing including hats and gloves

We supply all flies and leader material for your guided day with us. There are several quality fly shops in town that can help you with flies and gear for the day's you fish on your own: Arricks Fly Shop, Blue Ribbon Flies, Bud Lilly's, Eagles Fly Shop, and Bob Jacklin Outfitters. In addition, most shops offer quality rods, reels, waders, etc. on a reasonable daily rental basis.  Call or e-mail us if you would like to discuss the flies we would suggest for your trip.
